ORAKEI-KORAKO ROAD

MINISTER CALLS FOR REPORT The New Zealand Tourist League has been advised by the Rotorua Chamber of Commerce that a deputation from that body recently interviewed the Minister of Tourist Resorts regarding the reopening of the road to Orakei-Korako. The Minister of Tourist Resorts has instructed the department’s resident officer at Rotorua to report on the feasibility of repairing the road.
