The Australian Olympic Games appeal fund is steadily increasing. The Olympic Council has consequently added Miss Bonnie Mealing to the list of those who are to be sent from Australia. —A. and At the Sydney Stadium Bourke. the holder of the welter-weight championship of Australia, lost the title to Jack Carroll, who knocked Bourke out in the seventh round of a 15-rounds contest. The bout was fast while it lasted. Bourke was knocked down in the fifth round and in the seventh, wheriupo* the referee stopped the fight.
