FRENCH SLOOP CASSIOPEE ’ FUNCTIONS FOR OFFICERS AND MEN The French warship Cassiopew will reach Auckland on Thursday mornillf, April 5, at 10 o’clock. She arrived at Lyttelton to-day and will leave there on April 2 for Auckland, where she will berth immediately. On Good Friday the commanding officer, four officers, four petty officer* and 44 ratings will leave for Rotor**, returning to Auckland on Easter Monday. . On Tuesday the Cassiopee will dock at Devonportr and four officers will leave for the Waitomo Caves. They will return to Auckland on the following Thursday. _» ' ~ On Wednesday evening the French Club will entertain the ship’s company at the Regent Theatre and on Thursday, April 12, the officers will attend a ball at Government House.
