At the request of numerous extunj* tors, through several affiliated societi* it was decided to hold a champion*® show for fancy pigeons at Palmers** North, when the association will pr®* vide four cash specials, as well a® «*■ tificates, providing the Manawatd S®* cietv provides two. All championships to be to the vaJ» of 10s 6d each and certificate, prow® there are five or more entries, fro® three or more exhibitors. The monthly meeting of the Ancl* land Poultry, Pigeon and Canary was held during the week. Mr. G. n* Ambler presided. The secretary reported that the P**®" dent, Mr. Wood, Mr. McLaren and P» self had interviewed Mr. G. R- R o *! chinson regarding the purchase show pens. This had been faVoUr *?i considered bj* Mr. Hutchinson, the result a scheme was being form ‘ : lated whereby the club will he able purchase its own pens. As it is too late to obtain the V** for this year’s show it was decide® ! hire them from the Onehunga UIUD preference to the Palmerston Club, where the pens had been obtai for last year's show. A scheme was formulated for the rolment of life members, the being left in the hands of Messrs. H. Ambler, A. Wood. E. J. R- McL ff2 with Messrs.
