Conrad Nagel is on “Loan” to Warner Bros.

Conrad Nagel has been “borrowed” from Metro - Goldwyn - Mayer by Warner Brothers, and the latter concern is featuring him in two pictures. It was as leading man to May MeAvoy that Nagel made his first noticeable appearance in films in months. “Slightly Used” was the first picture put out by Warner featuring Nagel and Miss McAvoy. The combination worked so well that “If I were Single” and “The Girl from Chicago” will use the same leads. “If I Were Single” is comedy romance; “The Girl from Chicago,” adapted from a story by Arthur Sommers Roche. “Business is Best” is a mystery play*.
