BAXTER—STUART
A gown of pastel tinted rose crepe do chine was chosen by Katie May, the second daughter of Mr. and the late Mrs. 11. A. Stuart, of Puni Road, Pukekohe, for her wedding this week to William John, the elder son of Mr. and Mrs. J. M. Baxter, of Hamilton. Silk lace was gracefully arranged to form an overskirt for the pretty frock and a dainty veil of cut tulle was worn under a chaplet of orange blossoms. A bridal bouquet of white and pink flowers was carried. The ceremony was conducted by the Rev. S. Nixon, in St. James’s Presbyterian Church, and the bride was given away by her father. The bridegroom wa£ attended by Mr. Percy Neal, of Auckland, as best man. Miss Belle Stuart attended her sister as bridesmaid and wore a smart frock of wistaria mauve taffetas panelled with silver lace. A pretty shoulder posy trimmed the frock and a bouquet of dahlias in matching shades was carried.
