AUCKRAM—CASSIN
Hannah Marie, the grand-daughter of Mrs. Cassin, of Westmere, Grey Lynn, was a dainty bride in her gown of ivory georgette, when she was married at St. Joseph’s Church, Grey Lynn, this week to Thomas Auckram, of Auckland. The ceremony was conducted by the Rev. Father Holbrooke, and the bride was given away by her uncle, Mr. J. Wrist. Her pretty wedding gown was mounted on a foundation of white taffetas effectively trimmed with silver lace, and over it fell the misty folds of a long tulle veil, caught with a chaplet of orange blossoms. Her bouquet of. white asters was faintly touched with pink to provide a note of colour in an otherwise allwhite toilette. Two maids attended the bride, the Misses Miriam Cassin, her sister, who wore a charming frock of shell-pink crepe de chine and a head-dress of tulle, and Joy White, a niece of the bride, who was attractively frocked in delphinium blue crepe de chine inset with fine silver lace. She also wore a tulle headdress and each maid carried a pretty bouquet to match her frock. Little Miss Gwendoline Walker followed as flower girl, wearing a. picturesque frock of lavender crepe de chine trimmed with tiny rosebuds. A swathing of lavender-tinted tulle adorned her hair and she carried a basket of mauve and pink asters.
