BREAD CARTER’S DEATH

HAMILTON SUICIDE (From Our Oun Correspondent) H AMILTON, Frida}'. An inquest was held this afternoon by Mr. F. W. Platts, S.M., with respect to the death of Heath Robert Cole, a bread carter, aged 36 years, who was found in Leslie’s Gully, Tamahere, this morning with a gunshot wound in his breast, and a gun and empty poison bottle beside him. Evidence was given to the effect that he was a married man with one child, and had always been on excellent terms with his wife. He left a note, referring to his wife in affectionate terms and asking that she be taken care of. A verdict was returned that deceased shot himself while in a state of aberration.
