SMALL CHILD DROWNED Press Association. TE KUITI, To-day. A three and a-half-year-old son of Mr. George Smith, farmer, Kae;:ea, near Aria, was drowned yesterday afternoon by falling into a sheep dip. The evidence at an inquest held last night disclosed that the child was playing near the dip with a younger brother, when he fell in. The other child, aged two years, ran and told hia mother, but 10 minutes elapsed before she could reach the spot, and the child was then dead. A verdict of accidental death was returned.
