Pupuke Club The Pupuke Golf Club will hold its opening day to-morrow with mixed foursomes. Play commences at one o’clock. Partners will be drawn. Maungakiekie Ladies Members of the Maungakiekie Ladies’ Golf Club will open the season at One Tree Hill links on Tuesday next. A handicap medal match will be played, play to commence at 11 a.m. Post entries will be accepted. Maungakiekie Club Following were the best cards returned in the medal handicap played by members of the Maungakiekie Golf Club at One Tree Hill: S. W. Hunter, 86. 14—72; R. A. McLean, 93, 20—73; F. Wiseman, 90, 13—77; R. J. Hamilton, 83. 5—78. To-morrow a bogey handicap, post entries, will be played, players to choose partners. Everslie Club Those members of the Everslie Golf Club not taking part at the Pukekohe opening to-morrow will play a medal round, choosing their own partners. Waitemata Ladies The annual meeting of the Waitemata Ladies’ Golf Club was held last evening. Mrs. Broughton was in the chair. The balance sheet showed a credit balance of £75 17s 5d and wtis adopted with expressions of congratulation to the officers. Mrs. Broughton tendered her resignationt as a member of the committee, which she has captained for the last three years. She joins up at “The Hill.” This year’s officers were elected as follow: President, Mrs. Geo. Gribbin; vice-presidents, Mrs. Goldwater and Mrs. Broughton; captain Mrs. F. Prime; vice-captain, Mrs. Neville; secretary, Mrs. Beaumont; treasurer, Mrs. Walsh; handicapper, Mrs. Hay; committee, Mrs. Clouston, Mrs. Atkinson, Mrs. Hay-Chapman, Miss M. Mason, Miss G. McGlashan.
