SAFETY REGULATIONS By Cable. —Press Association. — Copyright. LONDON, Tuesday. The Secretary for Air, Sir Samuel Hoare, stated in the House of Commons that passenger-carrying airplanes are subject to the same regulations as other transport in regard to compulsory wireless and life-saving equipment. The Minister said he did not think it advisable to insist that every airplane going 1,000 miles from Britain should be similarly equipped. The flights of Colonel Charles Lindberg and Mr. Bert Hinkler would have impossible under such restrict ions' A. and N.Z.-Sun.
