TEACHING NEW TONGUE
GERMAN ESPERANTIST IN AUCKLAND Dressed in knickerbockers and a khaki shirt with the green stax of the Esperanto movement on his breast, Edmund Tscheile, instructor in the new language, arrived in Auckland on the Marama this morning. Mr. Tscheile, in addition to being one of Germany’s foremost Esperantists, is also known as an actor and a poet of the modern school. He is travelling round the world teaching Esperanto, and lecturing at the many branches of the movement.
