The death has occurred of Mr. Samuel Clowes, Labour member of Parliament for the Hanley division of Stoke-on-Trent, at the age of 64 years. —A. and N.Z.-Sun. Mr, Clowes, who had represented the same constituency since 1924, was the general secretary of the National Society of Pottery Workers. He was also president of the National Pottery Council and a member of the Stoke-on-Trent Town Council. _
