CARS COLLIDE

DANGEROUS BEND OCCUPANTS UNHURT (From Our Own Correspondent) OPOTIKI, To-day. Two motor-cars collided heavily on the Opotiki-Whakatane Road yesterday morning. The cars, which were driven by Mr. Marsicano and Mr. James Talbot, were extensively damaged. The collision occurred on a dangerous bend near Bouglas Hill. Beyond a severe shaking and bruises, the passengers of both vehicles escaped injury.
