£10,000,000 Deal In British Movie Treaties For Trust

According to a special cable to the Sydney “Sun” a huge financial operation, involving the expenditure of £10,000,000 to buy music halls and cinemas, with the object of establishing unift rm cinematograph and variety programmes, has been half completed by the purchase of 60 theatres, halls and cinemas in London, the provinces, and Scotland. The plans include a mammoth theatre in the West End. The promoters are Sir Walter G-ibbons and M. F. Szarvasy, entrepreneur and city financier respectively . Such a huge venture is indicative of great faith in the future of the motion picture industry of Great Biitain.
