BOWS

Bows are very much in evidence just now in unexpected places and fulfilling novel functions. For instance, several fur coats have been seen tied at the neck by a bow; one model in black astrakhan had a large bow of'red taffeta at its throat, while another, of white shaved lamb, was tied by a narrow strip of its own fur. A satin gown with a square decolletage was seen with a butterfly bow posed at the nape of the neck, and a black satin afternoon dress had its long sleeves criss-crossed with matching ribbon which was tied in a bow just beneath the elbows.
