DANCING SEASON OPENS

OLD-TIME STEPS TO-NIGHT

The dancing season is back once more, and to cater for the increased demand by Jazz patrons, members of the Grey Lynn Labour Party have arranged for a mid-week dance every Wednesday in the O’Neill Street Hall, Ponsonby. The programme will continue from 8 o’clock to midnight. The usual Saturday night “Best Of All” old-time dance will not be neglected. To-night Paltrldge’s orchestra is again to provide the music at this popular rendezvous. Novelties in the form of chocolates, cigarettes and streamers are being introduced. A free bus for Point Chevalier will leave after the dance.
