MORE UNEMPLOYMENT
THIS WEEK’S FIGURES Unemployment is still on the Increase in Auckland. Figures supplied by the Labour Department this morning show that a total of 877 men are out of work compared with 845 last week. Of the total 738 are classed as lit for heavy work and 139 as suitable for light werk only. The figures last week were 704 and 141 respectively. Men placed in employment during the wee* number 72 compared with 235 for th* week er.ding March 17.
