HIGH SCHOOL WANTED
TAURANGA’S REQUEST MINISTER SYMPATHETIC (From Our Own Correspondent) TAURANGA, To-day. The Hon. R. A. Wright, Minister of Education, accompanied by Mr. C. E. MacMillan, M.P., arrived here yesterday. , In the evening lie received a deputation consisting of Mr. B. Dive, the Mayor, Mr. B. Robbins, of the Chamber of Commerce, Mr. B. V. Andrews, of the school committee, and Mrs. Christian, who advocated the erection of a high school at Tauranga. The Minister said he could not promise such a building now, as it was a question of finance, but lie would promise that Tauranga should he the next place to have a high school.
