Great South Road Fire.—A fire broke out yesterday afternoon in an unoccupied house in Garland Road, off Great South Road, owned by Mr. Hunt, of Ponsonby. The fire originated in the ceiling, but had only burnt the insulation on a coil of electric wire and two of the ceiling boards when the outbreak was extinguished by the One Tree Hill Brigade.
