SCHOOL RECORDS BROKEN (From Our Own Correspondent.) WHANGAREI, To-day. The Wliangarei High School sports were held to-day in brilliant weather. The track was in perfect condition and several school records were broken. Harold K. Brainsby beat his own last year's record of 41ft. sin. in the hop, step and jump with 43ft. sin, a Dominion schools record. He also broke the high jump school record with sft. 3Jin. Lyle Murray ran a magnificent race and won the hundred yards, establishing a new record with 10 2-ss. D. Bird eclipsed the half-mile record, winning the Dan Mason Cup in 2m. 16 4-ss. The school championship was won by H. K. Brainsby, and the junior championship by A. Bowyer.
