Prince Somersaults Over Horse's Head

By Cable. —Press Association. — Copyright. Reed. 9.10 a.m. LONDON, Wednesday. Riding in the Guards’ point-to-point steeplechase at Riseley, the Prince of Wales led the way to the seventh obstacle, a wide brook. His horse slithered on the far side and the reins broke.

The Prince of Wales somersaulted on to his feet and landed, still holding the reins. He was not hurt and scrambled out of the way of the other competitors.—A. and N.Z.-Sun.
