POSITION OF TEAMS Some of the postponed matches in tho outer inter-club competitions were played on Saturday, when Mangere East defeated Clevedon by b —4, in’ the A grade. The former team swept the pool in the singles games, but could onlv win one game in the doubles, while honours were even in the mixed doubles. In the Papatoetoe v. Mangere Central match played at Papatoetoe, the home team won by 6 —J. and as is usual with Papatoetoe, the women of the team were the stumbling block of the opnonents.
