CAPITOL

“THE MISSING LINK” Again proving his great versatility, Syd. Chaplin plays three characters in one, in his present starring vehicle, “The Missing Link,” which will be finally shown at the Capitol Theatre to-night. Syd. plays a London derelict, who, in .turn, plays the part of a lord, who, in return, plays the part of a Scotsman. This triple characterisation was the cause of many outbursts of laughter during the making of the film, for it was a very difficult thing for Syd. to remember which character he was playing. Chaplin is supported in this uproarious farce by Ruth Hiatt, Tom McGuire, Crauford Kent, Sam Baker, and many others. “Man Crazy,” starring Dorothy Mackaill and Jack Mulhall, is also to be screened to-night.
