OUT OF CONTROL
TROUBLE WITH YOUTH BREAKING PARENTS’ HEARTS “The Borstal seems to be the only place for him,” said Sub-Inspector McCarthy, when a youth, aged 19, appeared at the Police Court to-day and pleaded guilty to a charge of stealing £4. Continuing, the sub-inspector said that accused was out of control, untruthful, and a sneak thief. The boy’s father said he could do nothing with him. “He’s breaking our hearts the way he’s going on,” he added.
Accused, whose name was suppressed, was remanded in custody for a week.
