The report submitted at the annual meeting of the Otahuhu Public Library showed the present membership to be 102. Mr. C. B. Whitmore presided. Receipts for the year totalled £6O 4s 7d, and the expenditure was shown at £ 65 3s 3d. A proposal to raise the subscription was lost on the casting vote of the chairman. The following officers were elected for the ensuing year: Committee, Mrs Reeves, Messrs. A. C. Boniface, G. Nutter, J. Simpson, G. Smith and C. B. Whitmore; secretary, treasurer and librarian, Mr. G. E. Whitmore; auditor, Mr. W. J. Dennison.
