RADIO DEALERS
PROGRAMMES IMPROVED A special meeting of the Radio Dealers’ Association was convened yesterday to consider recently expressed opinions against the policy and programmes of the Broadcasting Company. Each member expressed the emphatic opinion that while admittedly some items were not popular, the consensus of public opinion was that the programmes as a whole were really good, compared with Australian statiorv especially considering the restricted amount of local talent available. It was agreed that programmes had | improved considerably during the past | year, and from information available members were satisfied that continuous improvement can be looked for, more so if the recent destructive criticism gives way to helpful suggestions.
