The Anglo-Saxon Petroleum Company’s tanker Oliva is expected to complete unloading bulk' oil at Western Wharf on Friday, when she is to sail on her return voyage to San Francisco, via Honolulu. ROTORUA FOR LYTTELTON. —The New Zealand Shipping Company advises that their liner Rotorua will now leave Napier to-morrow to proceed with her loading. THE MAHANA'S DEPARTURE.—The Shaw, Savill and Albion Company’s steamer Mahana, which is now filling up at Wellington, will sail finally from there at 5 p.m. to-morrow for London, via Panama Canal. FEDERAL STEAMER DEVON.—The New Zealand Shipping Company advises that the Federal steamer Devon is to leave Wellington this afternoon for Nelson, to proceed with her Homeward loading. TONGARIRO AT COLON. —An arrival at Colon yesterday was the New Zealand Shipping Company’s steamer* Tongariro, en route from Liverpool to Auckland. Wellington, (Lyttelton and Dunedin. The vessel is due here about April 10. MAUI POMARE SAILS. —The New Zealand Government's new steamer Maui Pomare is reported to have sailed from Southampton yesterday for Apia and Auckland. The vessel is due at Auckland about April 28. NEWBY HALL AT COLON.—En route from Galveston (Texas) with a cargo of sulphur, the American and Australian Line’s chartered steamer Newby Hall is reported to have arrived at Colon yesterday. The vessel is due at Auckland about April 14. HORORATA FROM LONDON.—The New Zealand Shipping Company’s steamer Hororata is scheduled to sail from London next Sunday with general merchandise for discharge at Auckland and Lyttelton. She is due at Auckland on May 3. ARGYLLSHIRE AT BLUFF.—The New Zealand Shipping Company advises that the Argyllshire berthed at Bluff on Monday to continue loading. She is to sail from there at 1 o’clock this afternoon for Port Chalmers and Wellington to compleete loading for London and Hull. MAKURA FOR FRISCO.—The Royal Mail liner Makiya is scheduled to leave Sydney to-morrow for San Francisco, via Wellington, Rarotonga and Papeete. The vessel is due at Wellington next Monday morning, and is to resume her voyage the following afternoon. TOFU A FOR THE ISLANDS. —At 11 o’clock on Saturday morning next, the Union Company’s Island passenger steamer Tofua is to be dispatched from Auckland with passengers, mails and cargo for Fiji, Tonga and Samoa. The vessel is loading at Central Wharf. SOMERSET DISCHARGING. The

fderal steamer Somerset, which is discharging her general cargo from West Coast ports of the United Kingdom at Queen’s Wharf, is to be dispatched tomorrow evening for Wellington, Lyttelton, Dunedin and Bluff. YOSERIC DELAYED.—A departure from Auckland this morning was the Andrew Weir steamer Yoseric for Wellington, Lyttelton and Dunedin to complete the discharge of her cargo of jarrah from Bussleton and Bunbury. The vessel arrived here last week. ECHUNGA SAILING. —The Inter-State steamer Echunga is neaping the completion of the discharge of her cargo of Newcastle coal at King’s Wharf and is to be dispatched from Auckland to-mor-row evening on her return trip to Newcastle. Messrs. Dalgety and Company have acted as the local agents. THE PORT HUNTER.—The C. jmd D. Line steamer Port Hunter arrived in the Wanganui roadstead on Sunday at midnight from Napier. She will leave the roadstead on Friday for Wellington, is due there on Saturday morning, and will sail finally from the capital on March 28 for London, via Panama. RIMUTAKA FROM HOME.—The next New Zealand Shipping Company’s steamer to leave England with passengers for New Zealand will be the Rimutaka, which is to clear Southampton on April 13. The vessel will have cargo for discharge at Wellington and Auckland. She is due at Wellington on May 25, and at Auckland a week later. MIDDLESEX COMPLETING.—Now completing loading operations for Home at Queen’s Wharf the Federal steamer Middlesex is to be dispatched finally tomorrow morning for London and West .Coast ports of the United Kingdom, via New York and Halifax. The New Zealand Shipping Company are the local agents. JAPANESE WARSHIP YAKUMO. The Japanese warship Yakumo, which has left Japan on a cruise to Australia and New Zealand, visited Auckland in February, 1924, in company with the Japanese warships Asama and Iwata. The three warships arrived at Auckland from Wellington and were six days in port. They left Auckland for Noumea, Raubaul and Japan. WAI RUN A AT VANCOUVER.—CabIed news has been received by the Union Company that the Wairuna arrived at Vancouver at 7 a.m. last Saturday from Suva. The vessel is to load at Powell River, Union Bay, and Ocean Falls. She is expected to clear the last-named port on March 31 for San Francisco, to complete loading for Auckland, Wellington, Melbourne, Adelaide and Sydney. THE CANADIAN HIGHLANDER. — The Canadian Highlander arrived at Dunedin at 10.30 a.m. on Sunday from Lyttelton. She sailed ye'sterday for Bluff and is due back at the capital next Monday, to load for New York, Boston and Montreal. From Wellington the Canadian Highlander will proceed to Napier and Auckland, and is to sail finally from Auckland on March 31 for the North American ports. H ERM IN I US’S ITINERARY. The Shaw, Savill and Albion Company advises that the Aberdeen White Star steamer Herminius will leave New Plymouth to-day for Bluff, Port Chalmers, Wanganui roadstead and Wellington. The vessel is due at Wellington on April 2, and will sail finally from there on April 5 for London. Avonmouth, Glasgow and Liverpool. It was originally intended to dispatch the Herminius finally from Port Chalmers. K IA ORA NEXT WEEK.—Having cleared Panama on March 6, the Shaw, Savill and Albion steamer Kia Ora is due at Auckland from Liverpool on Saturday week, March 30. The vessel has general merchandise from West Coast ports of Great Britain for discharge at Auckland, Wellington, Lyttelton and Dunedin. Cargo for Auckland will be unloaded to the agency of A. S. Paterson and Company, Ltd.

CAMBRIDGE DELAYED. —The Napier office of the New Zealand Shipping Company advises that owing to the unsettled weather, they cannot dispatch the Federal steamer Cambridge from there before Friday next for Auckland to complete loading for Home. The vessel is due here over the week-end, and early >next week is to be dispatched for London, Avonmouth, Glasgow and Liverpool, via Panama. PORT ADELAIDE TO-MORROW.— The Commonwealth and Dominion Line steamer Port Adelaide, en route from Wellington and Auckland, has reported to the local agents, the Farmers’ Cooperative Auctioneering Company, Limited, that she expects to arrive in the stream at Auckland at one o’clock tomorrow afternoon. The vessel will berth at Central Wharf to continue the discharge of her London cargo. The remainder is to be put out at New Plymouth. PORT' NAPIER ARRIVES.—An arrival at Port Chalmers yesterday afternoon was the Commonwealth and Dominion Line steamer Port Napier, from Port Kembla, Australia, to commence loading for Home. The vessel is to continue loading at Lyttelton, Wellington Napier and Auckland. She is due here abount April 2. and is scheduled to sail on April 6 for New York, Boston and London via Bahama. Messrs. Heather Robertson and Company will be the local agents. NORTHERN COMPANY'S VESSELS —The Northern Company advises that the auxiliary schooner Pono is delaved by rough seas at Waipu, and is not exto r f ach Auckland before the end of this week.
