MANUREWA PRESBYTERIANS

FAREWELL TO TEACHER The opportunity was taken on Monday evening, at a social held in the Manurewa Presbyterian Church Hall, to bid farewell to Mr. Neil MacCallum. who is leaving the district. Mr. W. H. Carrol, home missionary, handed the guest a handsomely hound Bible as an appreciation of his services, as a teacher in the Sunday school, and also as secretary of the school. Mr. Ti. Weir, who has resigned as superintendent of the Sunday school on account of ill-health, was also the recipient of a Bible. Mr. Carrol eulogised the good work accomplished by both of the guests. Mr. Wall, the newlyappointed superintendent, also spoke. Both the guests suitably responded. Musical items and games were enjoyed. The following contributed to the programme: Mr. and Mrs. Guthrie, Miss Guthrie, Mr. Harry Donaldson, and Mrs. W. H. Carrol.
