TARANAKI WINS TOURISTS AT PUKEKOHE (From Our Own Correspondent.J PUKEKOHE, Sunday. The Taranaki bowlers, comprising 11 rinks, played Northern AA’aikato yesterday. Tlio latter was drawn from Pukekohe, Waiuku, Tuakau, Bueklrtnd, and Patumalioe. Two matches wrere played. Taranaki won both, the first by 221 to 151, and the second by to 219.

POPULAR BOWLER FAREWELLED Air. AV. Cutforth. one of the oldest members of the Papatoetoe Bowling Club, who left by the s.s. Maunganiii for the Old Country on Friday, accompanied by Mrs. Cutforth was the re - cipent of a handsome travelling from his club-mates. In making - presentation, Mr. T. R. Smythema * president of the club, wished Mr. cuforth a pleasant trip and a safe r - turn. Air. Cutforth suitably responded. Mrs. R. McCullough, president ol tne Papatoetoe Croquet Club, Airs.
