3,355 BALES SOLD By Cable.—Press Association. — Copyright. LONDON, Friday. At the London wool sales to-day 9,288 bales were sold, of which 3,387 were Australian and 3.355 New Zealand. There was a good selection of Merinos and a miscellaneous offering of greasy crossbreds. Prices and competition were well maintained. Yorkshire produced the largest buyers. The following New Zealand sales are reported:—"HL/W., 55 highest price, 24Ad; average, 22d; “Panikau,” 21d and 19d; “Te Hoe,” 22£d and 21d; “W.K./F.V.,” and 25r. —A. and N.Z.
