LODGE RITUAL
PURCHASE BY OFFICERS ODDFELLOWS’ DISCUSSION A notice of motion from the Loyal Good Intent Lodge, having for its purpose the granting to past officers the right to purchase the lodge ritual and book of lectures, was discussed at today’s sitting of the conference of Manchester Unity Oddfellows. It was finally agreed to, provided the same was issued to the Past Grand under the authority of his lodge. A proposal to create a district medical contingency fund was referred to the incoming management committee for consideration. It was also decided to permit honorary members, subject to ratification by the New Zealand branch, to vote on all questions concerning the social fund of the lodge, to which the member may be contributing. The election of deputies to represent the Auckland District at the Biennial Moveable Conference, to be held at Hastings next month, resulted as follows: Bros. C. H. Ambridge, F. Best, W. Dean, W. J. Edwards, W. Gubb, F. Hard, W. McMillan, John McLeod, W. J. Neels, F. C. Perry, W. G. Pitcher, R. T. Scott, F. A. Smith, and A. D. Young, all of Auckland. (Proceeding.)
