HOCKEY CLUBS BUSY AT HAURAKI PLAINS
KEEN WOMEN’S CLUBS (From, Our Own Correspondent.) NGATEA, Tuesday. I' our of tlie Hauraki Plains women’s hockey clubs held their annual general meeting last week ih anticipation of. the association’s annual meeting on Tuesday evening. All the clubs reported a successful season and bright prospects for the coming year. Officers appointed were as follow: Ngateh Club: President, Mrs. G. Hastings; secretary, Miss N. Elliott; delegates, Messrs. J. McPherson and H. ICirkman; committee, Mrs. Jackson, Misses U. Birkenhead and M. Harris, and the officers. Ivopuarahi Club: President, Mrs. Whitmore; secretaries, Misses A. and Ethel* Candy; captain, Miss Edna Candy; delegates, Messrs. J. Miller and H. Iverby; committee, Misses Jensen, A. Miller, White, Harwood and A. Candy. Kerepeehi Club: Patron, Mr. F. Rogers; president, Mr. J. H. Nicholson; vice-president, Mr. G. Boswell; secretary, Miss M. Nicholson; delegates to association, Messrs. J. H. Nicholson and J. Cook. High' School: President, Mr. W. Chappell; secretary, Miss E. Donaghy; chaperone, Mrs. Barribal; delegates, Messrs. C. Abel and M. Canning; captain. Miss K. McKerchar.
