ROYAL, KINGSLAND

“HER WILD OATS” A person can be even more lonely in a huge crowd, with luxury on every side, than with just a few persons, provided those persons are friends. The truth of this is shown by Colleen Moore in “Her Wild Oats,” the mirthful comedy now at the Theatre Royal, Kingsland. Miss Moore is shown as a girl who takes her hard earned savings of years and spends them on one week at an exclusive Atlantic coast resort. However, she finds that she is far more lonely there with no friendly face in the entire throng, than she was back in the little lunch wagon which she operated in “Times” Square, New York. Larry Kent plays the chief male role in support of the star in this rollicking comedy which Marshal Neilan directed. Hallam Cooley and Gwen Lee appear in outstanding roles. In addition another attractive tale is being shown under the title of “Nobody’s Widow,” starring Leatrice Joy. This is a comedy-drama much above the ordinary. The fact that Cecil B. de Mill© made it is sufficient recommendation. In all it was a first-class show, which the large audience was quick to appreciate.
