MOVE TO STOP IMPORTATION OF ARMS

Realising that China's prolonged internal warfare is largely due to the Importation of munitions from abroad, a diplomatic body which conferred at Peking has decided to telegraph to the Governments concerned drawing attention to the importance of the Arms Embargo of 1919, prohibiting the export of arms and munitions from their territories to China, and requesting suemh Governments which have not taken measures to this effect to dp so. —A. and N.Z.
