RECORD IN SALES By CabJe. — Press Association. — Copyright. Reed. 1.20 p.m. NEW YORK, To-day. Trading on the Stock Exchange set a new record when sales passed the four million mark. T3RICES were irregular, while the Radio Corporation of America continued the sensational leader, opening at 160. After leading the sales to a record run yesterday, they later sagged to 140, but recovered greatly before the close. This is the second successive day that all previous Stock Exchange records have been broken, yesterday s sales totalling 3,750.000 shares. It is estimated that the two days’ upward movement added nearly 2,000 million dollars value to the issues traded in.—A. and N.Z.
