LADY BAILEY’S FLIGHT CHAMPION AIRWOMAN By Cable.—Press Association. — Copyright. LONDON, Saturday. The champion woman aviator of the world, Lady Bailey, left the Croydon airdrome yesterday on an attempted flight to Capetown in a De Havilland Moth, which is capable of remaining in the air for 10 hours at a time. Lady Bailey, who was unaccompanied, expects to reach her destination by a series of short hops, via France, Italy, Malta and the Sudan. A message from Paris says she has been delayed at the Bourget airdrome, near the French capital.—A. and N.Z.
