MOTORISTS’ CLOSE CALL

(From Our Own Correspondent) OPOTIKL To-day.

Two men in a motor-car had a narrow escape from death while driving on the Meremere Hill, Opotiki, when their car went over the cliff, falling a considerable distance. One man managed to jump clear, but the driver fell with the car. With great difficulty he extricated himself from the wrecked car. His arm was badly cut and bruised, and he suffered severely from shock.
