ALLEGED CATTLE-STEAL-ING

STOCK AGENT CHARGED HAMILTON, To-day. Walter Joseph Bunting-, a stock agent, formerly of Auckland, was charged in the Supreme Court to-day with stealing’ 31 head of cattle, the property of some person unknown. Accused bought cattle from Frank Rose, a storekeeper of Tirau, ostensibly on behalf of one. McCray, who is alleged to be a fictitious person. Bunting sold the cattle at Ngaruawahia. The case is proceeding.
