NINE SCULLERS TO COMPETE GOOD RESPONSE IN ALL CLASSES The Ngaruawahia regatta to be held next Saturday promises to establish a record In the history of the Regatta Association, the number of entries, 50, being much in advance of the average number. From the entries it is apparent that there will be some keen rowing. especially in the single sculls, for which crack oarsmen have entered. The following are the entries: Maiden Fours.—Waitemata, Tauranga, Hamilton, North Shore, Auckland. Maiden Double Sculls.—West End, Auckland. Junior Fours (open).—Hamilton, North .Shore, Waitemata, Whangarei, Ngaruawahia, Mercer. Single Sculls.—Tauranga, West End, Hamilton (St. Clair), North Shore, Hamilton (Molesworth), Whangarei, Waitemata, Mercer, Hamilton (Hill). Maiden Fours (open).—Tauranga, Hamilton, West End, Mercer, Auckland, Ngaruawahia, Waitemata. Senior Fours.—Hamilton, Waitemata, West End. Junior Fairs.—Waitemata, NortJj Shore, Hamilton, Mercer, Tauranga. Auckland. Youths* Fours.—Mercer, North Shore, Auckland, Ngaruawahia, Hamilton. Maiden Pairs.—Waitemata, Tauranga, Hamilton, Auckland, Mercer, West End.
