REDUCTION IN SIZE

APPLES FOR SOUTH AMERICA Apples accepted for export to South America this season are the subject of a special decision made by the Fruit Export Control Board recently. It has been decided to reduce the: size of all varieties down to count; 138 instead of only to count 125. Although the quality of this season’s crop is good, the dry weather has prevented the usual growth, and thus, a lowering in size has been found necessary.
