HOLY TRINITY SOCIAL CLUB

SATISFACTORY YEAR The annual meeting of the Holy Trinity Social Club, Otahuhu, was held in the Parish Hall this week. There was a large attendance of members and intending members present, and everything points to a very prosperous and enthusiastic year. It was decided that the 192 S season commence on May 1 and the socials be held in the public hall, as the parish hall was being used for church services. The balance-sheet showed the club to be in a strong financial position, having a credit balance of £7O, after donating £59 to various branches of church work. A vote of thanks was accorded the voluntary orchestra, which did good work under the leadership of Mrs. F. Andrew. Miss F. Baverstock, the retiring secretary, was accorded a hearty vote of appreciation for the excellent services rendered. The following officers were elected: President, Mr. J. C. F. Paine; vicepresidents, Messrs. G. Nutter, T. Day, Mesdames W. Paine, Walters and H. Lovett; secretary and treasurer, Miss T. Kitto; committee, Messrs. H. Lovell, J. Webber, A. Fearnley, Misses Aicken and F. Davis.
