UNEMPLOYMENT RELIEF
WORK AT WHANGAREI Press Association. WHANGAREI. To-day. Following representations made regarding unemployment in the Marsden Electorate, Mr. W. Jones, M.P., has received to-day notification from the Prime Minister that 125 men will be immediately employed upon specified road works, comprising formation and widening. Further negotiations are proceeding for engaging an additional 75 men at an early date.
