OLDEST K.C. DEAD. —The death :s announced of Sir Harry Poland, K.C., Probably the oldest member of the legal profession in England. He w;rs in his 99th year, and became a barrister 77 years ago.—A. and N.Z. REPRESENTATIVE’S STATUS. The Secretary for the Dominions, Mr. E- S. Amery, in reply to a question in the House of Commons, said that there was no reason for an inquiry on the subject of the title and status of the British representative to Ottawa. —A. and N.Z. IMPECUNIOUS PRINCE. The Eerlin newspaper “Montag Morgen” announces that the ex-Crown Prince of Germany has sold a number of his states at Oels, Prussia, and will retilin only 10,000 acres for hunting.
