PERFORMANCE AT CAMBRIDGE INJUNCTION LIFTED (From Our Own Correspondent) "WELLINGTON, Monday. The Te Kuiti Operatic Society was granted permission by Messrs. J. C. Williamson, Ltd., to play the "Mikado” at Cambridge last evening, and at Te Kuiti to-night, on condition that it pays all the past royalties, the costs of the present proceedings, and undertakes to make future application in the proper form. There was an attendance of 600 at Cambridge last evening, when the opera was successfully produced. At the conclusion of the performance the Mayor and Mayoress entertained the performers at supper. The Cambridge branch of ihe Plunket Society will Receive half the net profits.
