SUNDAY PICNICS
FRUITGROWERS OBJECT Press Association. CHRISTCHURCH, To-day. The Canterbury Fruitgrowers’ Association is not in favour of Sunday picnics, and at its meeting on Saturday evening it declined to accept the proposal of the Christchurch Fruiterers’ Association to hold a combined picnic on a Sunday in March.
