OPENS TO-MORROW By Cable.—Press Association. — Copyright. MELBOURNE, Thursday. The chief horses in the Newmarket Handicap, to be run to-morrow, have drawn the following positions at the barrier: Thrill 25, Gothic 24, Sans Culotte 17, Avant Courier 21, 19, Chrystal 3. The following is a list of the horses and their riders left in the classic event: V.R.C. St. Leger Stakes, of £1,500: 13 miles —Trivalve (R. Lewis), Charlott (J. Daniels), Tordilla (H. Jones).
