A further improvement to Nicholson Park, Mount Eden, where croquet lawns and tennis courts have been laiid out, will be the erection of a new tennis pavilion. The plans have been prepared by Mr. A. Sinclair O’Connor, and provide for a wooden structure on a bluestone foundation. It is to be erected so as to face the lawns, and an attractive porch will give entrance to the pavilion 26ft 3in by 14ft. A kitchen, modernly appointed, and dressing rooms for both sexes, will be located on either side of the kitchen.
