It tells of a phantom lawbreaker, who always strikes his deadly blow at the same time —the hour after midnight; of a girl secretary whom he holds captive in his luxurious but mysterious home, and of a detective who, when he was assigned to this case and met the girl—found that she was the woman he loved!
