SOUTHLAND MATCH AUSTRALIANS’ BIG SCORE Press Association. INVERCARGILL. Wed. The Australian cricketers made a great score against the Southland representatives to-day. Resuming their innings with 96 runs on without Joss, the visitors carried the score to 507 for nine wickets and the innings was then declared closed.
Southland, who made 124 in the first inninsrs. batted again ana had scored 51 for two wickets at the call of time, the game being dr-awn.
